Our Commitment to Animals

We are very passionate about animals, and are committed to their welfare. Here are some of the ways in which Owls and Friends continues to keep this commitment.

Humane merchandise. We believe you can look stylish or give a great gift without having to sacrifice animal welfare. All items in our store our cruelty-free; they contain no leather or fur.

We also take pride in offering as many products as possible from designers and vendors based in the USA, and who are committed to fair trade.

Partnership with Born Free USA united with Animal Protection Institute. We proudly support Born Free USA by providing their supporters with a 20% discount which we then donate back to the organization.

Partnership with Dane County Humane Society.
We support our local humane society by donating a percentage of proceeds from our sales from customers they refer to us.

We have also worked with Dane County Humane Society in other ways, including as a sponsor of their Unleashed and Uncorked charity event. We have also partnered with them and Avian Welfare Coalition for National Bird Day events.

Merchandise donations. We regularly fill requests for merchandise donations from animal welfare organizations sponsoring events that include a raffle or silent auction. We have been honored to provide a variety of animal themed merchandise to such organizations as Dane County Humane Society, Born Free USA, Parrot Toy Angels, Labrador Life Line, and more.
