Welcome to Owls and Friends, previously PJ Publications and Gifts. Why the change? Basically, we've grown and evolved. PJ Publications was initially created in 2002, with an emphasis on animal-related publications.

(Paula has written numerous magazine articles - most notably about the world of bird rescues - which have appeared in the award-winning magazine ASPCA Animal Watch, as well as Parrots Magazine, and the Petfinder website, to name a few.)

We started adding a few gift items to the mix, until eventually it became primarily a gift store. We wanted a new name and look for the store, something more reflective of what we actually sell - so in 2011 we became Owls and Friends. We also wanted to create a better store experience for you, including better navigation, search, checkout and other capabilities.
