How can I place an order?

Online: We use PayPal as our payment processor. Please note, you do not need a PayPal account in order to pay. You can either check out as a guest, or by using your PayPal account. We do not store any credit card information on our end.

When can I expect to receive my merchandise?
Most items ship from Madison, Wisconsin, within hours of receiving the order, or by next business day.  Some people receive their orders in as little as two to three days! All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service®. There is an additional charge for packages sent USPS Priority Mail Express.

What is your return and refund policy?
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you have 30 days within the date of purchase to receive a full refund. Please note, we issue refund for the full cost of the merchandise, minus original shipping and handling costs. For example, if the cost of your merchandise was $11.50 and shipping was $3.00, we will issue a refund for $11.50. 

Costs to return merchandise to us is responsibility of the buyer. If you would like to return an item please contact us for a return request and we will provide you with our return address and weight of the item. Postage can be purchased online via the United States Post Office. You can even request that a postal carrier pick up the package at your home. 

If your package is returned to us not due to our error, for instance, if a wrong mailing address was provided during the checkout process, we will contact you for the correct address. We will be happy to reship your order, but additional postage costs will apply. If we are unable to contact you, we will refund the cost of your merchandise (minus shipping and handling costs). For example, if the cost of your merchandise was $11.50 and shipping was $3.00, we will issue a refund for $11.50.

How do you calculate shipping charges within the United States?
We strive to keep our shipping costs as low as possible. We use the United States Postal Service®. Delivery confirmation is included in the cost of shipping. Shipping insurance is optional at your request.

If your purchase totals more than $25.00 on any single order, standard shipping is FREE!  Please note, this free shipping promotion applies to orders shipped within the United States. We value our customers at Owls and Friends.

USPS Standard Shipping:

You can expect your order within 2 to 5 days, although it can take a little longer to arrive, especially during the holidays, or if you live in Hawaii or Alaska.

Do you ship outside of the United States?
At this time we ship only within the United States. We may be adding additional locations at a later time.

What else do I need to know about your shipping policy?

If merchandise is on backorder and we need to ship separate packages, we will pay for all postage costs. 

The cost of shipping specified applies to packages being delivered to one address. Additional postage costs may apply if we need to ship to two or more addresses on one order.

Do you charge sales tax?
If you are a Wisconsin resident, a 5.5% sales tax charge needs to be added to your total.

How can I receive FREE shipping?
When you buy more you save more! And if you spend more than $25 with us on your order we will give you FREE SHIPPING! We value our customers at Owls and Friends and this is our special thank you to you.

If this is a gift for someone, can you include a gift card?
Absolutely! We will be happy to include an attractive gift card at no additional cost. Just let us know what you would like the card to say, or if you would prefer a blank card. You can do this at checkout. Read more about our free gift services.

How can I get my discount if I have a promotional code?
Just enter the promo code in the Coupon Code box provided on your shopping cart page, then press the Recalculate button. Your discount will be automatically applied.

Do you have a physical storefront?
At this time we are an Internet-based company.
